Dungeons & Dragons is a complex storytelling role-play board game. One of the major appeals of playing D&D is that players get to make their own decisions with little to no limitations. Players can choose from a number of races, including tiefling, elf, human and more. Dungeons and Dragons has been around for decades and, in recent years, has seen a surge in popularity. This has resulted in the development of the newly released film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

While a D&D film has been made before featuring Jeremy Irons and Marlon Wayans, the film was a massive flop, having a tiny 10% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Directors John Fracis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have taken a new direction with Honor Among Thieves, enough to warrant a 90% approval rating on the Tomatometer. Now, this film differs drastically from the original film. Here's your cast and character guide for Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

The Fast & Furious franchise may be Michelle Rodriguez's main source of notoriety, but she has also starred in films like Avatar and Widows. In Honor Among Thieves, Rodriguez was cast as barbarian Holga Kilgore, a woman who was exiled from the Uthgardt Elk Tribe and serves as a sort of mother to Kira until she was imprisoned with Edgin. Despite Holga's short temper and strong personality, she is loyal to those she cares about, including Edgin. She is arguably one of the strongest warriors in the entire film, able to shake off blows and continue to defeat her enemies with reckless abandon.

Much like many of the young cast of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Justice Smith has only been acting since 2014, but has made it on Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2017. Already having roles in big films like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Smith adds to his resume starring in Honor Among Thieves as Simon Aumar. Simon is a magical sorcerer, the descendant of Elminster Aumar, a well-known wizard. While Simon feels burdened by living up to Elminster's legacy, he comes into his own, discovering more about himself through his journey with Edgin.

Paramount Pictures

Arguably one of the biggest names on the cast list is A-lister Hugh Grant. Known for playing a vulnerable romantic leading man, as seen in Sense and Sensibility and Notting Hill, Grant proves himself a versatile actor in this departure from his typical role. In Honor Among Thieves, he was cast in the role of Forge Fitwilliam, a fitting name for the English actor. Forge Fitzwilliam is a rogue/con artist, who was a member of Edgin's crew and took guardianship of Edgin's daughter, Kira. After Edgin's imprisonment, Forge became Lord of Neverwinter, gaining wealth and status after taking advice from Sofina.

Chloe Coleman as Kira Darvis

Chloe Coleman made her acting debut at the age of five on Glee and has, ever since, attempted to break out into bigger roles, gaining parts in Marry Me and Avatar: The Way of Water. Coleman plays the part of Kira Davis, Edgin's daughter, who has fallen to Forge, who in turn served as her guardian while her father was imprisoned. As a result, Kira's relationship with her father has become extremely strained as they spent two years apart, and Forge had become Kira's only source of family.

Jason Wong as Dralas

Paramount Pictures

Jason Wong is a British actor whose career has been somewhat limited over the years. Starring in only a few films and TV shows, including Chimerica and The Gentlemen, Wong was cast as Dralas back in 2021 when casting first began for Honor Among Thieves. Dralas is a Red Wizard of Thay, an undead human warrior who serves Sofina. Wong underwent massive transformation for the film, adorning tattooed skin, no hair, and horrifying pallid skin, which, combined with his impressive sword, makes him an intimidating foe.

Daisy Head as Sofina

Paramount Pictures

Known for her performance in Netflix's Shadow & Bone and Harlots, Daisy Head joins the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves cast. Head plays the role of Sofina, a Red Wizard of Thay. Sofina has a focus on necromancy and has ties to Thay's magocracy. While Head is not as well-known as some of her co-stars, she proves herself a perfect match for the role of Sofina. Donning red robes, a bald tattooed head and an intimidating glare, she went through a real physical transformation to properly portray the necromancer.
