Reunited and it feels so good! Christopher Nolan fans will be excited to hear that he's bringing in a familiar face for his upcoming WWII adventure Dunkirk. After directing him in Batman Begins and Inception, Christopher Nolan will once again be working with acclaimed actor Cillian Murphy. The Irish born thespian will be joining an ensemble cast that already features Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh.

The movie will be headlined by newcomer and virtual unknown Fionn Whitehead. The main cast is made up of young up and coming actors who will portray the main squadron of soldiers in this intense true-life drama. Also joining the project are Jack Lowden and Aneurin Barnard.

It was previously rumored that One Direction singer Harry Styles was set to make his big screen debut in Dunkirk. The Warp now confirms that he has signed on. Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy are all playing supporting characters in the project. Warner Bros. and Cillian Murphy's reps have no comment at this time.

Christopher Nolan is directing as well as writing the screenplay for Dunkirk. The movie will revolve around the true life evacuation of Dunkirk during Operation Dynamo in WWII. This British military operation was responsible for saving 330,000 Allied soldiers' lives as they became surrounded by German Forces. Emma Thomas is co-producing the movie alongside Christopher Nolan. The movie is being shot on IMAX 65mm and 65mm large-format film photography, and will utilize some of the 70mm projectors that director Quentin Tarantino helped install at various theaters around the U.S. for his The Hateful Eight Roadshow this past Christmas.

Dunkirk begins production in May utilizing some of the real locations where the operation took place. The movie is already set for a July 2017 release date, and will arrive in IMAX, 70mm and 35mm. Cillian Murphy was last seen starring in Ron Howard's In the Heart of the Sea. He'll next be seen in the thriller Free Fire starring alongside recent Academy Award winning actress Brie Larson. He also has the thriller Anthropoid on the horizon, which teams him with Jamie Dornan.
