Some notable names in entertainment will be donating their money to a worthy cause this holiday season: regular American's in need. According to The Hollywood Reporter, E! and Ryan Seacrest Productions are teaming on a new reality show dubbed Bank of Hollywood, which will feature celebrities donating their own money to everyday Americans.

The series will feature a panel of notable names in entertainment who will hear pitches from American's in need of financial assistance. The panelists include author and entrepreneur Candy Spelling, poker player Vanessa Rousso, Wilhelmina Models president Sean Patterson and Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton, who will give away their own money for the show, with amounts starting at $2,000. Some of these pitches include a grad student who can't afford an engagement ring to propose to his girlfriend and a good samaritan trying to raise money for charity.

The series is based on the BBC series Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway, hosted by comedian Bryan Callen. The new E! series will debut on December 14 at 10 PM ET, with an eight-episode run planned.
