HBO's hit comedy series Eastbound & Down wrapped up its second season last November. While fans patiently await Season 3 to hit the airwaves, it seems the next season could be the last. Here's what star Danny McBride had to say about the show at the Paley Center event in Los Angeles last night.
"We never really had an interest in turning the show into anything traditional. We approach each season like it's one long movie."
Danny McBride and executive producer Jody Hill are currently writing the third season, which will debut in early 2012, and they already have the endgame mapped out for Danny McBride's character, Kenny Powers.
Season 3 will feature Kenny Powers returning to Shelby, North Carolina, after his Season 2 stint south of the border in Mexico. Katy Mixon will return as April Buchanon, who didn't appear in Season 2, although it isn't known if Oscar nominee John Hawkes will return as Kenny's brother, Dustin.
