Has Ant-Man finally been cast? Director Edgar Wright released a behind-the-scenes photo from his Marvel Phase Three movie that offers more questions than answers.

"Now I'm back in LA, it's high time to finish a little something I've been working on...

As far as we know, the title character has not been cast at this time. Simon Pegg confirmed last month that he is not playing Dr. Hank Pym/Ant-Man, shortly after rumors spread that he had already been cast.

Since no cast members are attached yet, it isn't known what the director intends to "finish" during his time in Los Angeles. It's possible he is shooting a special effects test reel, but that hasn't been confirmed either.

Edgar Wright is directing Ant-Man from a screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Cornish (Attack the Block), based on the Marvel Comics character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. No story details have been confirmed, but the director revealed in February that this will take a different approach to Dr. Hank Pym's origin story.
