According to Variety, Tink, a live-action version of Tinkerbell is getting ready to take off at Disney. Elizabeth Banks is attached to star and Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and McG will be the producers.

The concept is said to play "with the mischievous nature of the Tinkerbell character." It was conceived by Banks with Max Handelman, who co-runs Banks' company, Brownstone Productions.

Elizabeth Wright Shapiro (Miss January) wrote the script. This film is the most recent from Banks' company to find a home at a studio.
