Netflix's Emily in Paris has its third season debut date. Revealed during the streamer's TUDUM fan event on Saturday in a teaser trailer hinting that some of Season 2's biggest cliffhangers will be addressed when the third season premieres on December 21.

"This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make," Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) is heard saying in the teaser. In Emily in Paris, the show's titular character is an ambitious marketing executive from Chicago who moves to Paris for an unexpected job opportunity when her marketing company acquires a French luxury company, Savior. Emily is tasked with revamping the company's social media strategy and brining an American perspective to its campaigns. Over the show's two seasons, Emily has made new friends and tried to balance an active love life.

Netflix previously released some first-look images at the upcoming third season of Darren Star's comedy series Emily in Paris. In the photos, Netflix revealed a possible continuation of the Emily-Gabriel-Alfie love triangle from the second season as there are photos of Emily with both beaus. At the end of Season 2, however, when Emily attempted to profess her love to Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), Camille (Camille Razat) has just moved back in with him, and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) had just told Emily that he wanted to try a long distance relationship with her when he moved to London.

In Season 2, Emily met a fellow expat in French class, Alfie (Laviscount), who at first both infuriated and intrigued her, but their friendship eventually evolved into a romantic relationship. Although Alfie moved back to London at the end of the second season, Laviscount was upped to a series regular for the third season, indicating that his part might get bigger.

Here is the Season 3 synopsis:

One year after moving from Chicago to Paris for her dream job, Emily finds herself at a crucial crossroads in every aspect of her life. Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie — at work and in her romantic life — and what those decisions mean for her future in France, all while continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.
