Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon are joining the cast of the drama, Brideshead Revisited for Miramax Films.

From Julian Jarrold, the cast also stars Ben Whishaw, Matthew Goode and Hayley Atwell. The $20 million adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's classic novel is now fully financed to start shooting in June on location in Yorkshire, Oxford, Venice and Morocco.

Variety says Whishaw plays the alcoholic Sebastian Flyte, and Atwell his enigmatic sister Julia, between whom Charles (Goode) is caught in a forbidden love triangle. Gambon will play their father, the dissolute patriarch Lord Marchmain, and Thompson his estranged yet controlling wife.
