That's a wrap on Enola Holmes 2. Netflix has announced that filming has now been completed on the upcoming sequel with a video posted to Twitter from the set featuring Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge. This follows a previous report that Henry Cavill had completed his scenes for his return as big brother Sherlock, and now the rest of filming appears to be in the can.

The message posted by Netflix Geeked reads: "The sequel to Enola Holmes has officially wrapped! Until it arrives on Netflix, enjoy this first clue to Enola’s next great adventure…"

In the video, a returning Partridge completes his final scene as Tewkesbury before sharing a hug with Brown, who's also back as Enola. Other returning stars from the first Enola Holmes include Cavill as Sherlock and Helena Bonham Carter as the family matriarch Eudoria. Those rounding out the cast are David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney, and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss.

"I was like, 'Oh, yeah, I'll just do one movie, like, obviously…' and then as soon as I went on set and I played [Enola], I fell in love with her, and she became part of my heart," Brown previously told Entertainment Weekly when the first film was released. "I always said I loved playing Eleven [on Stranger Things] because I didn't just do one thing and then stop playing her. I love that I can continually play her, and with the Enola book series… I really am optimistic about the future. I'm so looking forward to [hopefully] getting back to work."

The original film was written by Jack Thorne and directed by Harry Bradbeer. It was a tremendous hit for Netflix, drawing viewers from 76 million households within its first month of release. It performed well with the critics as well with many fans clamoring for another Enola Holmes movie. Netflix was listening and it came as no surprise when a sequel was ordered into production. Should this one do just as well if not better, chances are we'll see Brown back for an Enola Holmes trilogy.

Bradbeer returns to the director's chair for Enola Holmes 2. Thorne also returned to pen the screenplay for the sequel. Plot details have not yet been revealed, but Louis Partridge previously teased more to come with his character and Brown's. That coincides with the new set video featuring both embracing for Partridge's final scene.

"I'd like to see a bit more of both, to be honest," the actor told PopBuzz. I think their relationship is so great that it could go either way but you sort of appreciate it for what it is. I'd like to see them together again because I think they work great as a dynamic duo. But undoubtably with a bit of that flirtiness that'll always be going on between Tewkesbury and Enola."

Enola Holmes 2 does not yet have an official release date, though it's expected to arrive on Netflix sometime in 2022. In the meantime, the original Enola Holmes can be found streaming on Netflix.
