Although his role in Ang Lee's Hulk is one that many fans would prefer to forget, Eric Bana insists that there is no resentment between him and Ed Norton, who replaces him as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in The Incredible Hulk. In fact, Bana tells MTV that he is actually looking forward to seeing Norton in the role.
"I can't wait to see it," Bana said of the new film. "I think it will be amazing."
The film is a reboot of the franchise, and erases the action of the first Hulk movie. Asked about the man who replaces him, Bana enthused, "I'm a big fan of Ed's. I was really thrilled that someone of Ed's caliber stepped up to play [Hulk] in the sequel," he said. "It's great. I'm sure his version will be incredible."
The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton, William Hurt, Liv Tyler and Tim Roth smashes into theatres on June 13, 2008.
