Eric Bana is in talks to star in Lakeshore Entertainment's diamond-heist thriller Brilliant, directed by Robert Luketic (The Ugly Truth).

Blood Diamond producer Gillian Gorfil is writing the script, which marks her feature writing debut.

The film revolves around a small-time criminal who joins accomplished thieves in a diamond heist.
