TV writer Erica Rothschild has a new assignment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rothschild will be adapting the juvenile horror book series Rotten School for the big screen.

The series, written by R.L. Stine, revolves around a schoolyard bully who schemes to get even with his teachers and a couple of rival students. The setting takes place at a "zany" boarding school.

The film is coming from 20th Century Fox, who are also producing Stine's Goosebumps series for the big screen. There is no solid word on when either project will hit theaters.
