Variety reports that Ericson Core (Invincible) will next be directing the independent film Dance the Green. The film tells the story of luminary golf player Moe Norman.

Barry Morrow (Rain Man) wrote the screenplay.

Norman was a child of the Depression in Ontario, Canada. He was injured in a sledding accident and started using "repetitive phrases and nervous laughter" which made him something of an outcast. Yet, his use of this behavior helped him create "an unorthodox short golf swing that enabled him to place the ball" with amazing accuracy.

Norman only played in his native land where he won 55 tour victories and was a two time Canada PGA champ. Later, he got into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.

The screenplay was written in 1999. The film is currently casting with the hopes of shooting next spring.
