ESPN has picked up the second season of the boxing reality show, The Contender.

Former world champion Sugar Ray Leonard will return as host of the series, which will follow the lives of 16 boxers who will vie to win the competition. The Hollywood Reporter says trainers include New Yorker Tommy Gallagher, a 1959 Golden Gloves title winner, and Northridge, California, cruiserweight Jeremy Williams.

The second season of The Contender will premiere at 10pm on July 18th and continue throughout the summer. The season finale, the title fight, will air September 26th live on ESPN from Staples Center in Los Angeles.
