It may have taken a pounding by critics in it's Second Season but Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is looking forward to future shows, and even hoping certain deleted scenes make it on to Desperate Housewives: The Complete Second Season due on DVD August 29.

In a story from Home Media Retailing, the actress hopes that the new set will contain "a deleted religious moment with Gabrielle and Carlos."

"There's one of Carlos and I praying a really funny prayer," Longoria stated. "We're not properly praying."

In discussing the last season the actress says, "I really felt that Gabrielle had the best storyline and the best story arc of all the characters."

"[Gabrielle] got to have the [seductress] nun, and at the end of the season, she got a new rival for the baby and loses the baby," the actress continued. "She had amazing opportunities to show the funny side of kicking a nun's ass in a church to [crying] when she lost the baby and when the baby's taken away from her."

Some of the extras in the Desperate Housewives: The Complete Second Season set will include "a deleted storyline with Teri Hatcher's character, an interview with the creator and his mother, and a salute to famous TV housewives."
