The absurdly wonderful science fiction action outing Everything Everywhere All at Once has now become the highest-grossing movie for seminal studio A24. Directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Everything Everywhere All at Once has been gradually climbing the box office ladder since hitting theaters in April, and has now taken over the horror movie hit Hereditary to become the studio’s biggest movie.

While Ari Aster’s acclaimed horror click, Hereditary, grossed a total of $80.2 million, Everything Everywhere All at Once has now taken over the top spot with a worldwide earning of $80.9 million. And Everything Everywhere All at Once’s theatrical run is not yet over.

Breaking the global numbers down, the majority of the gross has come courtesy of the United States and Canada, where Everything Everywhere All at Once has brought in $61.5 million. Moving into the wider world, Everything Everywhere All at Once has seen massive numbers abroad, with the movie grossing $5 million in the United Kingdom, $3.8 million in Australia, $2.3 million in Taiwan, and on and on it goes until you reach the top spot winning total of $80.9 million.

Everything Everywhere All at Once has seen great staying power, with the bizarrely brilliant action-comedy-sci-fi-fantasy adventure remaining popular with audiences throughout its run so far. According to reports, Everything Everywhere All at Once dropped just 11% over the first few weeks since release, a trend which has seemingly continued and led to the movie being such a monumental success for A24.
