After much anticipation and several delays, the Evil Dead universe is all set to hit gaming systems this May. Evil Dead: The Game has revealed a new trailer and is already up for pre-order across all platforms. Inspired by all the iconic elements and characters from the Evil Dead universe, Evil Dead: The Game features "an over-the-top, gore-filled experience against the forces of darkness."From the looks of the latest trailer, the title will be appealing to gaming enthusiasts and fans of the franchise alike. Even more so, since Bruce Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash Williams in the game. Since Campbell retired from the role on screen, the game adds an extra appeal to this iconic character.The rather short trailer showcases all that fans can expect from this horror rollercoaster, including Deadites and the vile Kandarian Demon, in addition to the iconic characters Ash, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Scotty, Lord Arthur, and more. Moreover, the game will allow players to take on the role of the Demon, in which case they will be tasked with stopping the good guys using the powers of possession.

Work as a team of four survivors, including Ash, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Scotty, Lord Arthur and more, to fight the Deadites and banish the vile Kandarian Demon. Or become the mighty Demon yourself, using your powers of possession to stop the good guys dead and swallow their souls!

Battle across memorable sights from the franchise, including the infamous Knowby cabin, brought to life with tons of terrifying visuals and all-new dialogue from Bruce Campbell. Evil Dead: The Game Pre-Order Grabs Come with a Roster of Exciting Content

Before Evil Dead: The Game releases across all platforms (including the new-gen PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC), the title has opened itself for pre-orders. To make things more appealing, the game (priced at $39.99) has thrown in the Ash Williams S-mart Employee and the Gallant Knight outfit as added content with every pre-order.

On the other hand, the Deluxe Edition (priced at $59.99) of the game includes four exciting DLC packs in addition to the game. However, nothing compares to the limited Collector's Edition (priced at $124.99), which includes multiple collectibles in addition to the physical copy of the game.
