Whenever I talk to Clifton Collins Jr., the talk invariably shifts to the several projects he always has on his slate, whether it be movies, music videos, or TV. At the moment, he is currently shooting Transcendence, the directorial debut of The Dark Knight cinematographer Wally Pfister. When we reported in April that he had joined the cast, no details were given about who he is playing, until now.

Take a look at what he had to say about his character named Martin.

"I can't really say too much about it, because it's pretty secretive, but I play this character named Martin, who works, basically, for Johnny Depp and Rebecca Hall. I take care of some situations for them. You've got Johnny Depp, you've got Rebecca Hall, you've got Morgan Freeman, Paul Bettany, Cillian Murphy, Cole Hauser. It's a pretty fantastic cast, and I'm really stoked just to be in their company."

Shooting is currently under way on Transcendence, which centers on a man who uploads his brain into a supercomputer. CLICK HERE to check out my full interview with Clifton Collins Jr. for Pacific Rim, which is currently playing in theaters.
