The film featured the long-awaited full-length return of Edgar and Alan Frog, A.K.A. the Frog Brothers, played by Feldman and Jamison Newlander, respectively. With mostly positive reviews from its fans, sales of the Lost Boys: The Thirst DVD and Blu-ray have been quite good in its first month of release, which begs the question: Will there be a Lost Boys 4?
/exclusive-corey-feldman-talks-lost-boys-4/We spoke to Feldman earlier this month when he was first promoting Lost Boys: The Thirst and the actor seemed optimistic about a forth installment of the franchise. Feldman is now celebrating the release of another one of his classic '80s films on Blu-ray, The Goonies, which will be available on November 2nd. We recently had a chance to catch up with Cory Feldman while he was out promoting the 25th anniversary of The Goonies and asked the popular icon if Lost Boys 4 was definitely happening and when he expected to begin work on the movie. Here is what he had to say:
"I mean yeah, it's a good question. I think we all have to wait and see a little bit what the results are. I know it has been selling really well and the reviews have been excellent but its kind of the waiting game now. We just have to wait for the dust to settle a little bit, let things fall where they may and really see what the profit margin is and all that stuff."
"It wasn't everything that I wanted but as a creative piece of the puzzle, there were certainly things that I fought for and I got a few of those in. There are a few moments that I didn't get in but I think that we will have another opportunity if we do it again. Next time around hopefully we can incorporate even more stuff that I was looking to get in. I definitely don't want to be going backwards so I want to make sure that each time we do it, if we are going to do it again, its got to be bigger and better than the last one."
