Opening on February 11th, is a new CGI animated film from Touchstone Pictures called Gnomeo and Juliet. The film is based on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and features the music of Grammy Award winner Elton John. The film features the voice talents of James McAvoy (Wanted), Emily Blunt (Charlie Wilson's War), Jason Statham (The Expendables), and two-time Academy Award winners Michael Caine (The Dark Knight) and Maggie Smith (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince). We recently had a chance to speak with the director of the film Kelly Asbury (Shrek the Third), as well as actors James McAvoy, and Emily Blunt, and musical legend Elton John. The greatest love story ever told starring ... garden gnomes? In the upcoming Gnomeo and Juliet, Shakespeare's revered tale gets a comical, off-the-wall makeover.
