Premium Rush DVD

Two-time Golden Globe nominee Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Looper) delivers pulse-pounding excitement in the action-packed thriller Premium Rush, coming onto Blu-ray and DVD with UltraViolet Monday, December 21st from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film also stars Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon (Best Supporting Actor, Revolutionary Road, 2008), Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch), and Dania Ramirez (American Reunion).

Bonus materials include two behind-the-scenes featurettes: "The Starting Line: Meet the Cast," which highlights the cast and creative development, and "Behind the Wheels: Featurette on the Action, Stunts and Chases," providing a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to do one of the riskiest jobs around.

Dodging speeding cars, crazed cabbies and eight million cranky pedestrians is all in a day's work for Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), the best of New York's agile and aggressive bicycle messengers. It takes a special breed to ride the fixie - super lightweight, single-gear bikes with no brakes and riders who are equal part skilled cyclists and nutcases who risk becoming a smear on the pavement every time they head into traffic. But a guy who's used to putting his life on the line is about to get more than even he is used to when his last envelope of the day - a routine "premium rush" run - turns into a life or death chase through the streets of Manhattan. Also starring Michael Shannon, Jamie Chung, and Dania Ramirez.

David Koepp directed Premium Rush; it was written by David Koepp and John Kamps and was produced by Gavin Polone.

Bonus Features Include:

  • "The Starting Line - Meet The Cast" featurette
  • - "Behind The Wheels - Featurette on the Action, Stunts and Chases"

Premium Rush has a running time of 91 minutes and is rated PG-13 for some violence, intense action sequences and language.
