Days ahead of the season 3 finale of Snowpiercer, we have an exclusive photo to unveil. Shown above, the image gives us a peek at Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean) in the season finale that's set to air on TNT on Monday, March 28. In the anticipated conclusion of the season, which will help to set up the events in the upcoming season 4, it "all comes to a head as old adversaries clash, with New Eden hanging in the balance.”

A post-apocalyptic sci-fi series, Snowpiercer stars Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind) and Tony Award winner Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, Black- ish). The series is based on the critically acclaimed graphic novel series and the film from Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho (Parasite). Snowpiercer is executive produced by Graeme Manson, Aubrey Nealon, Christoph Schrewe, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements, Matthew O’Connor, Ben Rosenblatt and Scott Derrickson, and the original film’s producers, including Bong Joon Ho, Miky Lee, Jinnie Choi, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun and Dooho Choi. The show is produced by Tomorrow Studios, along with CJ Entertainment. ITV Studios handles international distribution.

At the end of Snowpiercer season 2, Layton (Daveed Diggs) and Ruth (Alison Wright), who were banished to Big Alice’s compost car, plotted to take back Snowpiercer. With the help of Javier (Roberto Urbina) and Alexandra (Rowan Blanchard), Layton and Ruth made it back to Snowpiercer and rallied with their supporters. Josie (Katie McGuiness) destroyed the Aquarium car, separating Snowpiercer’s head from the remaining 1,023 cars.

The "wild" third season picks up with Layton (Diggs) and his inner circle commanding a small 10 car “pirate train” in search of Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) and a possible warm location to restart civilization; while back on Snowpiercer, Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean) is consolidating power, awaiting Layton’s return. Season three cast members also include Mickey Sumner (Frances Ha, Battle of the Sexes), Iddo Goldberg (Westworld, Peaky Blinders), Steven Ogg (Better Call Saul, Westworld), Tony Award winner and Grammy nominee Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Bojack Horseman), Annalise Basso (Bedtime Stories), Mike O’Malley (Heels, Glee, Yes, Dear), Sam Otto (The State), Sheila Vand (The OA), Chelsea Harris (Top Gun: Maverick) and three-time Emmy nominee Archie Panjabi (Departure, Star Wars: The Bad Batch).

We’re excited to keep the train running into season 4.”
