The Possession brings this summer's movie season to a close this Labor Day weekend, with the haunting tale of an ancient demon looking for a human host, inspired by actual events. Originally entitled The Dibbuk Box, this thriller is based on several instances where people were tormented by demons known as dibbuks, who were trapped inside ornate boxes (one such instance happened right here in Los Angeles, back in 2004). Our story centers on Em (Natasha Calis), a young girl who picks up an antique box at a garage sale. Once she opens it, she becomes obsessed with her new toy, and begins lashing out at those around her, including her father Clyde (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and mother Stephanie (Kyra Sedgwick). As her behavior becomes more and more intense, Clyde and Stephanie come to learn the truth, that an evil force now resides within their little girl. I recently had the chance to speak with Natasha Calis, Kyra Sedgwick, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan about this supernatural thriller, opening in theaters August 31. Take a look at our exclusive video interviews to see what they had to say.
