It's never easy loosing a family member but it's especially tough when a young child looses a parent, which is what makes Bindi Irwin's accomplishments so amazing. The eleven year-old lost her father, famed-"Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, in September of 2004 and since then the pre-teen has been on a mission to continue to spread her father's message of conservation, environmentalism and animal rights around the world. The young Irwin now brings her father's message to a whole new audience with the release of the forth installment of the popular Free Willy franchise, Free Willy: Escape From Pirate's Cove, out on DVD and Blu-ray March 23rd. She makes her acting debut in the film opposite screen-legend Beau Bridges (The Fabulous Baker Boys) and of course, the famous swimming mammal. We recently had a chance to sit down with Bindi Irwin and discuss her new film, the franchise, her father, his legacy and her family's important message.
