Fame took the film world by storm when it was released in 1980. Dance musicals had been done before, but Fame captured the drive, perserverance, and heartbreak of the auditioning process. Tancharoen, making his directing debut after years of professional dancing and choreography, is best known for his stylized work with numerous pop artists. Here, Kevin was tasked with finding new and talented faces to bring the Fame remake to life.
