From the studio that brought you Shrek, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda comes How to Train Your Dragon, opening in theaters on March 26th. Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, the action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn't exactly fit in with his tribe's longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. We recently had the opportunity to sit down and speak with the film's stars, Jay Baruchel (She's Out Of My League), America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) and Craig Ferguson (The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson) as well as the film's directors Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois to talk about the new film, it's talented cast, the challenges of adapting the popular book, and what it takes to actually fight dragons. Meet Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (Baruchel), heir of the Viking chiefdom, but a boy with one very big problem: a hero he is not. How to Train Your Dragon is the riotous story of Hiccup's quest to hunt down the fiercest dragon, bring it into submission, and hopefully pass his initiation. Instead, he ends up with the smallest, most ornery dragon, (it's even toothless), and befriends the beast. The Vikings' world is turned upside down when Hiccup's encounter with the dragon challenges the way they view the world and forces them to begin to look at it from an entirely different point of view. Based on the book by Cressida Cowell. Starring Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jonah Hill and Kristen Wiig. Directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois, How To Train Your Dragon opens in theaters on March 26th.
