Actress/singer Miley Cyrus is one of the most popular and beloved entertainers in the world. At just the young age of seventeen Cyrus has already been entertaining audiences with her successful Disney Channel series Hannah Montana and subsequent hit albums since 2006, but it wasn't until she was featured as the lead voice in the CG animated film Bolt, along with her spin-off film Hannah Montana: The Movie, that her film career really began to take off. Now Cyrus attempts to move from the comedy and musical genre over to dramas with her new coming-of-age film The Last Song, opening in theaters on March 31st. The film is based on best-selling author Nicholas Sparks' (The Notebook) forthcoming novel co-starring Oscar nominee Greg Kinnear, Kelly Preston and Liam Hemsworth. We recently had a chance to sit down and talk with Miley Cyrus, her co-stars Kelly Preston and Liam Hemsworth, the film's director Julie Anne Robinson and the novel's author Nicholas Sparks about the film, the characters and the book that it is based on. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common, music, in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. Starring Miley Cyrus, Greg Kinnear, Kelly Preston, Liam Hemsworth, Bobby Coleman and Nick Searcy. Directed by Julie Anne Robinson, The Last Song begins playing in theaters on March 31st.
