Steve Coogan has finally arrived... on this side of the pond. After making a career out of his Alan Partridge character in England, in various roles over various mediums, his work is starting to be recognized more in the States, with roles in such films as Marie Antoinette and Hot Fuzz as of late. His new film will surely put him on the map stateside with his hilariously off-beat starring performance in Hamlet 2, which opens in limited release on August 22 and will expand nationwide on August 29. I had the chance to talk with Coogan, who plays Dana Marshcz (which is supposed to be pronounced as oddly as it's spelled), a down-on-his-luck high school drama teacher who tries to save the drama department from being cut by putting on a sequel to Hamlet with his students.
