Eight years after making the acclaimed independent drama "Boys Don't Cry", director Kimberly Peirce returns to the big screen with the military drama Stop Loss. The film centers around decorated Iraq war hero Sgt. Brandon King, who, after making a celebrated return to his small Texas hometown following his tour of duty, discovers that he has been stop-lossed. This means that he must return to Iraq for yet another tour of duty. We recently caught up with Peirce, as well as cast members Ryan Phillippe, Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rob Brown, and Victor Rasuk, to discuss the movie.
