In an example of life imitating art, rapper-turned-actor T.I. who plays a recently released from jail bank robber in the new film Takers, which he also produced, actually had to have filming for the movie scheduled around his own 2007 arrest for weapons possession charges. While the actor/rapper/producer's legal complications delayed the release of the film it will finally open in theaters on August 27th and boasts an all-star cast of actors including Paul Walker (Fast & Furious), Idris Elba (The Losers), Matt Dillon (Armored), Hayden Christensen (Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith), Michael Ealy (Miracle at St. Anna), Jay Hernandez (Quarantine), Chris Brown (Stomp the Yard), T.I. Takers takes you into the world of a notorious group of criminals (Paul Walker, Idris Elba, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.
