While it was initially believed that The Expendables 3 would be the last movie in Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables franchise, the actor/filmmaker revealed in November that The Expendables 4 will be rated R, unlike the PG-13 sequel The Expendables 3. There hasn't been much movement on the sequel at this time, and it isn't known which cast members will be back, and which will not. There was recently a rumor circulating that Sylvester Stallone wanted to cast boxer Manny Pacquiao, if he would have won his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. earlier this month. Sylvester Stallone teased that he would have cast him, if he would have won the fight.

"Of course. Yeah, he was going to teach us all how to box."

Then just moments later, the actor backtracked, stating the boxer was never going to be in The Expendables 4.

"No, Pacquiao was never going to be in it. He's a great fighter, but we've got to stick to broken down actors."

Of course, Manny Pacquiao lost his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., but it seems he was never set to be in the movie anyway. It isn't known who will direct The Expendables at this time, or when production may begin. Would you have liked to see Manny Pacquiao in The Expendables 4?
