Bryan Singer's WWII thriller Valkyrie was befallen by a touch of bad luck on Sunday. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ten extras fell out of the back of a truck while filming a scene for the Tom Cruise flick.
The accident happened to the second unit, without Cruise or Singer in attendance. The extras fell off the truck when a side panel burst open as the truck they were in took a corner. They were all rushed to the hospital, and only one of them had to stay over night for observations.
Filming was halted after the incident, but it should have no impact on the film's production schedule. The truck was going less than ten miles per hour, and the injured background artists only acquired minor bruises and scratches.
Police have begun an investigation into the accident, which is standard procedure for any occupational accident that happens in Germany.
