Famke Janssen and AnnaSophia Robb have signed on to star in the indie drama Jack of the Red Hearts, which is currently shooting in New York City.

The story centers on a teenage con artist who convinces a desperate single mother to hire her as a live-in caregiver and companion for her autistic daughter. Screenwriter Jennifer Deaton developed the script with Lucy Mukerjee at Film Independent's Producer's Lab.

Janet Grillo (Fly Away) is directing, with Lucy Mukerjee producing alongside Sundial Pictures' Stefan Nowicki, Joey Carey and Morgan White.

Famke Janssen is coming off of her surprise cameo in X-Men: Days of Future Past and the indie boxing drama A Fighting Man. She will next be seen in Kickback, and in Season 2 of Hemlock Grove, which debuts in its entirety on Netflix starting July 11.

AnnaSophia Robb most recently starred in Soul Surfer and The Way, Way Back.
