Horror fans have a new reason to be excited this week, as the second issue of the newly relaunched Fangoria has arrived. And surprise, none other than Joe Bob Briggs is gracing the front cover, which you can see in the reveal below. Believe it or not, this is the first time in the magazine's long and storied history that Joe Bob Briggs has ever been featured on the cover of Fangoria.

Joe Bob Briggs has come back in a big way. After a hugely successful marathon on Shudder, the iconic horror host and critic is back with the new show The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs in 2019. The original revival marathon kicked off on July 13 of last year, featuring 13 movies over a 24 hour time period, and it was so successful that it crashed Shudder's servers. Shudder wasted no time in bringing Joe Bob back for two holiday specials at the end of 2018. And he will continue his Drive-In show later this year.

The latest issue of Fangoria catches up with Joe Bob Briggs for a look at his rise back to the top on Shudder, as he breaks the rules and breaks the Internet at the same time. The magazine promises an insightful look into how the revival came to be, and what fans can expect from Joe Bob throughout the rest of the year.

The latest edition of everyone's favorite horror magazine is also going to delve into the Rabid remake, from the Soska Twins, which stars Laura Vandervoort in a gruesome and gory role that is sure to shock and surprise fans. Fangoria is also taking a special look at the making of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 as it explores the sequel's gay themes and how it came to be the next installment in the Freddy Krueger saga despite not being your typical slasher sequel.

Up and coming horror filmmakers with a taste for creating blood and other practical effects will be treated to a fun tutorial called 'How to Blow Your Own Face Off!', which should provide a lot of fun.
