Earlier this month, the new stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opened with the first previews in London's West End, set years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Later this year, fans will get to explore a different side of the Harry Potter universe with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which is set for release this November from Warner Bros. Pictures. Earlier today, Warner Bros. released a new poster, with a new announcement coming soon.

The poster debuted on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them's Twitter, which also teased that "something FANTASTIC" is being announced soon. It's possible that this announcement could be a new trailer, since we haven't gotten any more footage since the first trailer arrived back in April. Then again, that's just a guess for now, and we'll have to wait and see what is actually announced.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident, were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob (Dan Fogler), a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt's fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Back in April, Dan Fogler teased that this new movie will feature younger versions of beloved Harry Potter characters. It's possible that this "fantastic" announcement could reveal who is playing these characters. The actor wouldn't confirm which characters would be revealed in this story, but it's possible that we could see younger versions of Albus Dumbledore in this story, which is set 70 years before the first Harry Potter movie.

The supporting cast for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is rounded out by Katherine Waterston as Tina, Dan Fogler as Jacob, Alison Sudol as Tina's sister, Queenie Ezra Miller as Credence, two-time Oscar nominee Samantha Morton as Mary Lou, Oscar winner Jon Voight as Henry Shaw, Sr., Ron Perlman as Gnarlack, Carmen Ejogo as Seraphina, Jenn Murray as Chastity, young newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty and Colin Farrell as Percival Graves. We'll be sure to keep you posted with more updates on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Until then, check out this new poster below.
