Matthew Vaughn has signed on to produce the Fantastic Four reboot. Mark Millar, who serves as a consultant to Fox on all their superhero movies, announced the news on his Twitter page earlier today.
Josh Trank (Chronicle) is directing from a screenplay by Jeremy Slater. Matthew Vaughn, of course, is no stranger to the superhero genre, after directing X-Men: First Class in 2011 and Kick-Ass in 2010.
While no specific story details have been released, Mark Millar revealed in January that this project will reinvent the superhero genre, with an approach we have never seen before.
