Fast & Furious 7 had been on an extended hiatus following the death of franchise star Paul Walker on November 30. Shooting is expected to continue for 6 to 8 more weeks, with a revised storyline that will retire Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner character in a move that sees him walking off into the sunset as opposed to being killed off on screen. Stand-ins and CGI will be used to finish scenes involving O'Conner.
