The ride will be similar to the park's King Kong 360 3D, where occupants of the studio's back-lot trams will be encompassed by 400-foot movie screens. Here's what Universal Creative executive producer Chuck Russell had to say about Fast & Furious: Supercharged in a brief statement.

"We're going to make it feel like those trams are being pulled through the streets at speeds of over 100 miles per hour."

Universal's trams currently stop operating at sunset, but they will be expanded into the evening hours, with a new nighttime story in the works that will be accompanied by lighting effects at more than 20 stops.
