A new clip from Fast X has been released. Serving as the penultimate installment of the Fast and Furious movie series, the film is coming to theaters on May 19, and the promotion for the sequel continues. In the new clip, John Cena returns as Jakob Toretto after making his franchise debut in F9, the previous film. Jason Momoa also can be seen in his franchise debut role as the movie's villain in the new clip, orchestrating his men to try and capture Jakob alive, not knowing how much of a mistake that will turn out to be. You can watch the sneak peek clip below, courtesy of IGN.

In the film, Momoa plays Dante Reyes, the son of Hernan Reyes - the drug lord played by Joaquim de Almeida in Fast Five. Dante is seeking vengeance for his father's death and proves to be the biggest threat to the Toretto family yet. Fast X helmer Louis Leterrier recently teased how this new villain brought into the franchise by Momoa is much more chaotic than who they've had to deal with in past films.

"Dante is in awe of Dom [Vin Diesel]," Leterrier told Total Film, referring to Dante as "pure chaos" of a character. "He’s analyzed him. There’s nowhere to hide, because he knows Dom better than he knows himself. Dom truly meets his match with Dante."

Franchise star Michelle Rodriguez has also teased that Momoa's Dante is the most fearsome of all male villains in the Fast and Furious movies. She has to make that distinction to ensure that Charlize Theron gets her due credit as Cypher, but Momoa nevertheless shines brightly in the film, as Rodriguez teased.

"I'd say he's the best male villain we've had in the entire franchise, of course because Charlize kills it," Rodriguez said, via Collider.
