Paranormal Activity producer Jason Blum is teaming up with George Plamondon and Betsy Schechter, who produce the A&E reality series Paranormal State, to adapt stories from Fate magazine.

The Lakeville, Minnesota-based magazine was founded in 1948, and tells various true-story tales of unexplained mysteries. The plan is for Jason Blum, George Plamondon, and Betsy Schechter to delve through the rich history of this periodical to adapt genre stories for both movies and television. Here's what George Plamondon had to say about this new endeavor, and teaming up with Jason Blum.

"Whether you believe or not, if you watch someone who believes, it's fascinating. There's a level of fear we explore that Jason explores as well with the scripted projects he's done."

It is said that the magazine served as the inspiration for several of George Plamondon and Betsy Schechter's TV creations, including the Animal Planet series The Haunted.
