There's a lot more FBI on the way at CBS. As reported by THR, the network has given two-season renewals to all three shows in the FBI franchise, which includes the main series along with both spinoffs, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted. Guaranteeing each series will stick around through the 2023-24 season, the renewals will bump FBI to six seasons with Most Wanted going up to three and the new series International getting renewed through season 3.

CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl addressed the renewals in a statement, which you can read below.

“The FBIs are one of the most successful brands in the entire TV landscape and a powerful cornerstone of our No. 1 lineup. They’ve attracted a dedicated, loyal fan base, thanks to the extraordinary vision of executive producer Dick Wolf and the talents of all three outstanding casts and creative teams. I know we and our viewers look forward to two additional seasons of engaging, heroic stories.”

Dick Wolf, who produces all three FBI shows, also released a statement commenting on the franchise's popularity.

“Everybody who works on these three shows is over the moon about the multi-year pickups. We are all incredibly grateful to CBS and our partners at Universal Television and CBS Studios. And I personally would like to thank the incredible casts, talented writers and dedicated producers, not to mention three crews who never missed an airdate despite the difficulties of producing full seasons during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Dick Wolf created FBI with Craig Turk, launching the series in 2018. The crime drama features an ensemble cast that includes Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Ebonee Noel, Sela Ward, Alana de la Garza, John Boyd, and Katherine Renee Turner. It follows the agents of the FBI's criminal investigation office in New York.

FBI's first spinoff series, FBI: Most Wanted, follows the FBI's Fugitive Task Force as they pursue the nation's most dangerous criminals straight from the Bureau's most wanted list. It stars Julian McMahon, Kellan Lutz, Roxy Sternberg, Keisha Castle Hughes, YaYa Gosselin, and Miguel Gomez. Alexa Davalos and Dylan McDermott joined the main cast in season 3.

Debuting in 2021, the rookie spinoff FBI: International comes from Wolf and Derek Haas. The follow-up series focuses on the FBI's "Fly Team," a group of elite operatives tasked with neutralizing threats against the United States from around the world. Its cast includes Luke Kleintank, Heida Reed, Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto, and Christiane Paul.

The main series is the flagship show of the franchise with FBI averaging more than 10 million viewers with each episode. Both FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International are still very popular, each pulling in between 8 and 9 million viewers on average per episode. The high ratings were clearly enough for CBS to move forward with renewals for multiple seasons of all three shows in the FBI series, keeping the agents on the air for years to come.
