Earlier this month, we showed you the first Fear the Walking Dead set video as production got under way in Los Angeles. As Fear the Walking Dead continues shooting, with the The Walking Dead spinoff set to debut this summer on AMC, we have seven new behind-the-scenes photos featuring stars Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, series creator Robert Kirkman and executive producer/showrunner Dave Erickson and executive producer Greg Nicotero. Of course, Robert Kirkman and Greg Nicotero also work together on The Walking Dead, but the series creator revealed that Greg Nicotero has a much different look for the zombies on Fear the Walking Dead.

"Greg Nicotero and his team have definitely come up with a very unique take on our early walkers."

The six-episode first season is set in Los Angeles, on the other side of the country from Rick and the rest of The Walking Dead survivors. We reported earlier this month that, like Robert Kirkman's original comic books and The Walking Dead, fans won't learn what actually starts the zombie plague. The spinoff is, however, set in the early days of the outbreak, telling a "parallel story" that explores how the undead outbreak affects the West Coast. AMC hasn't announced exactly when Fear the Walking Dead will debut, but it is scheduled to begin its six-episode run sometime in late summer.

The supporting cast for Fear the Walking Dead includes Alycia Debnam Carey, Frank Dillane and Elizabeth Rodriguez. Robert Kirkman co-created the series with Dave Erickson, with Gale Anne Hurd also serving as executive producer and Adam Davidson directing the pilot.
