In just a few weeks, The Walking Dead will be wrapping up, but, unlike in years past, fans don't have to wait long for more zombie action. One week after the Season 6 finale on April 3, AMC will bring back the prequel series Fear the Walking Dead, with Season 2 debuting Sunday, April 10 at 9 PM ET on AMC. While we wait for the new season to begin, Entertainment Weekly has debuted a new trailer, which teases that these survivors aren't safe on land or at sea.

Fear the Walking Dead's debut season ended with Travis, Madison, Alicia (Alycia Debnam Carey), Nick (Frank Dillane) and Daniel (Rubén Blades) getting ready to escape Los Angeles on Strand's (Colman Domingo) massive yacht. This new trailer features the main characters traveling by land and sea, both of which appear to be equally dangerous. We see footage of Nick drowningAnd in another scene, he's drenched in blood. Could Nick be the show's first major casualty? We don't know for sure, but this season will also introduce new cast members such as Dougray Scott, Daniel Zovatto, Arturo del Puerto and Veronica Diaz.

Fear the Walking Dead will air its second season of 15 episodes in two parts, beginning with the first of seven episodes on Sunday, April 10th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The remaining eight episodes will air later in 2016. The series, which delivered the highest-rated first season of any series in cable history among total viewers and all key demos in live+3 ratings, is executive produced by showrunner Dave Erickson, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert and stars Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as Travis, Cliff Curtis as Nick, Alycia Debnam Carey as Alicia, Rubén Blades as Daniel, Mercedes Masöhn as Ofelia, Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris and Colman Domingo as Strand.

The series began production on season two last month in the Baja peninsula in Mexico at Baja Studios, home to some of the greatest ocean-set films in recent years. Season one left off with Madison, Travis and their extended family taking temporary shelter in Strand's gated estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. As civil unrest continues to grow and the dead take over Los Angeles, Strand prepares to escape to "Abigail," his large yacht moored offshore. For those who haven't caught up with the series yet, the complete first season of Fear the Walking Dead will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu. Hulu subscribers can catch up on all episodes of the series through Hulu's No Commercials and Limited Commercials plans ahead of the second season premiere on AMC.

Immediately following Fear the Walking Dead on Sundays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT will be Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick, which will continue its tradition of welcoming cast, producers and celebrity guests to the couch to talk about the newest episode of Fear.
