Felicity Huffman will star in the drama, The Politician's Wife for Picturehouse; Sara Risher's ChickFlicks is co-producing.

The film is based on the British miniseries that followed an MP's wife who responds to her husband's infidelity in unexpected ways, notes Variety; Nicholas Meyer wrote the big screen adaptation, which is filled with 'intrigue and sexual politics.

Filming on The Politician's Wife is set to begin in May; no release date has been scheduled.
