Last year's Fifty Shades of Grey was just as controversial as it was successful, catapulting stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson into the Hollywood stratosphere. Both stars will be back for the sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, with some fans wondering if Jamie Dornan will go full frontal in this follow-up, like his co-star Dakota Johnson did in the first movie. The actor recently addressed this burning question while promoting his new movie The 9th Life of Louis Drax, adding a new mystery to this sequel.

While male full frontal nudity is certainly rare on the big screen, it isn't completely unfounded. Michael Fassbender went full frontal in the critically-acclaimed 2011 drama Shame, but there has never been any indication of whether or not Jamie Dornan will bare it all as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades Darker. Entertainment Tonight recently spoke with the actor and asked whether or not fans will see "the full monty," as it were. Here's what the actor had to say below.

"The truth is that I don't know the answer to that. You'll have to wait and see."

While the actor certainly doesn't offer a clear answer, his vague response could indicate that he did actually shoot a full frontal nude scene, but he doesn't know if it will be included in the theatrical cut. Production began in February, but, aside from the photos that debuted in March, we haven't heard any other updates about the sequel. Jamie Dornan also added that filming the sequel was a much better experience all around, since there was so much pressure in making the first movie.

"I felt more comfortable the second time around. There was a lot of pressure the first time. I think when you're making the first film of any franchise there is a lot of pressure in terms of setting a tone and the way it's shot and the way it's played and finding your feet with it. It was very strange that I came into that job six weeks before they started filming, which is totally unheard of in a franchise of that size -- and not the way you want to go into any job, really. This time I felt I had a lot more time on my hands. And the pressure seemed to be off a bit with every department because the first one made so much money. Everyone was in a better place about it. So it was definitely a better experience."

New cast members coming aboard for the sequel are Kim Basinger as Christian Grey's ex-lover Elena Lincoln, Bella Heathcote as Leila Williams, another one of Christian's former submissives and Eric Johnson as Jack Hyde, one of Christian's business rivals. Arielle Kebbel has also signed on for the finale Fifty Shades Freed as Gia Matteo, a beautiful architect tasked with building Christian's new home in Seattle. James Foley (House of Cards) is directing both Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, from scripts by author E.L. James' husband, Niall Leonard (The Bill). Only time will tell if we get to see Jamie Dornan naked in this sequel or not. But we know the film isn't aiming for an NC-17 rating, so expect whatever nudity there is to be fairly tame.
