Now that Universal Pictures has brought on Jamie Dornan to play Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey, the studio has cast Luke Grimes as Christian's brother, Elliot.

Dakota Johnson is playing Anastasia Steele, the young college student who strikes up a steamy affair with the 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey, with Jennifer Ehle portraying Anastasia's mother Carla. There are still a few more key supporting roles to be cast, such as Anastasia's roommate and Christian's bodyguard, which have the potential to be break-out roles for any young actor.

Sam Taylor-Johnson is directing from a screenplay by Kelly Marcel, which is being polished by Patrick Marber. We reported last month that production is starting next month in Vancouver, but with more roles yet to be cast, it isn't clear if shooting will remain on schedule or not.
