Victor Rasuk has become the latest to join the Fifty Shades of Grey cast, signing on to play college student Jose.

In the E.L. James novel, the amateur photographer Jose is a classmate and close friend of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson), who wants to take their relationship to the next level. He finds himself competing for her affections with young billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), who has a tendency to dominate his sexual partners because of his twisted past. Jennifer Ehle co-stars as Anastasia's mother, with Luke Grimes playing Christian's brother Elliot.

Sam Taylor-Johnson is directing from an adapted screenplay originally written by Kelly Marcel. Patrick Marber and Mark Bomback have recently signed on to polish the script. Dana Brunetti and Michael De Luca are producing, with shooting scheduled to take place in either mid-November or early December in Vancouver.

Victor Rasuk is best known for starring in the HBO series How to Make It in America. His feature credits include Lords of Dogtown, Stop Loss and Jobs.
