Variety reports that FilmNation Entertainment and A Bigger Boat are teaming up to finance and produce House at the End of the World.

The story was written by Jonathan Mostow (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines).

Mark Tonderai will be directing from a screenplay by David Loucka.

House at the End of the World is being called a thriller that is setting its sights on "a contemporary young audience."

Initially, the project had been set up at Universal and developed through the discretionary fund of Mostow and Hal Lieberman. As producers they eventually split up, the movie went into turnaround, and set it to be co-financed by FilmNation and GreeneStreet Films, which partners with A Bigger Boat.

House at the End of the World is slated to start production later in the year.
