It seems that Final Destination 4 will start up in a high-octane fashion. According to Bloody-Disgusting, producer Craig Perry has told the site that the film will start up with a high-speed auto racing sequence.

The scene will involve a large crash at an race car event where objects fly into the stands and kill onlookers... and just barely miss others. Perry also revealed that the film, which is shot entirely in high-definition 3-D, will employ similar technology that James Cameron is using on his new Avatar film.

Perry also stated that he doesn't want to go overboard with the 3-D in the film.

"Having something pop out at the audience every four minutes gets boring," he said.

Casting is currently in progress and they are eyeing a March start for shooting in New Orleans.
