First Independent Pictures and HBO Video have picked up Mini's First Time by writer-helmer Nick Guthe, says Variety. The film, which is co-produced by Kevin Spacey, stars Nikki Reed, Alec Baldwin, Luke Wilson, Jeff Goldblum, Carrie-Anne Moss, Rick Fox and Svetlana Metkina.

The dark comedy follows a teen who's attracted to the seedier side of L.A. nightlife. After she begins a sexual relationship with her stepfather, the duo scheme to have the teen's mother committed to a mental institution.

First Independent has scheduled a summer release for the film, which had its world premiere Monday at the Tribeca Film Festival. The deal gives First Independent TV rights, while HBO will release the movie DVD.
